Installation Steps
Step 1: Measure the Installation Area
Measure the height and width of the wall carefully to determine how many acoustic panels are required and identify where cutting is needed.
Step 2: Mark the Cutting Line
Transfer the measurements onto the panel using a pencil and straight edge. Apply masking tape along the cutting line to minimize edge chipping.
Step 3: Cut the Panel to Size
Use a fine-tooth hand saw or circular saw with a sharp blade to cut the panel accurately. Remove the masking tape after cutting.
Step 4: Secure Loose Slats (If Necessary)
If any wooden slats become loose after cutting, fasten them from the back using short screws to restore the panel’s stability.
Step 5: Apply Construction Adhesives
Apply a high-strength fast-grab construction adhesive evenly across the felt backing in vertical or zigzag lines for maximum bonding.
Step 6: Install the First Panel
Position the first panel from left to right, ensuring the overlapping slat edge is correctly aligned. Press firmly from top to bottom while checking vertical alignment with a spirit level.
Step 7: Continue Installing Additional Panels
Install the remaining panels one by one, making sure each panel fits tightly with the previous one to create seamless joints.
Step 8:Trim the Final Panel
Measure the remaining space at the end of the wall, trim the last panel to the correct width, and install it using the same method.
